The one person a Construction Company can't do without!!

My hubby is a Cabinet Maker and just yesterday he returned home completely frustrated.  He had thought he had completed a new kitchen for Langfords Bespoke Cabinet Company, ready for it to be delivered & fitted but unfortunately this was not the case. He had to remake a number of cupboards and change the design of a row of cabinets.

Long story short, a builder had taken on the design of a kitchen, when similarly to an Architect, he has his own area of expertise in construction.  Now I've worked with a number of amazingly skilled builders in my time but on this occasion he just took on to much. In my husband's case, it has caused delays & misunderstandings.  While the client is left behind.

Interior designers can compliment a builder, can increase efficiency, and help to delight clients and ultimately that's whatever wants.

So what happened with the Kitchen that my hubby is working on? Well, I'm sure it will be resolved to a satisfactory outcome, but I just wished that Construction companies would understand the value of interior designers more or just ask our advice.  We are always amenable and delight in being asked our expert advice.

There is no judgement here, just an interior designer that is willing to help & wants to help. To help shine a light, on your area of expertise as a builder & project manager.

Remember: Team work makes the dream work.

I have an understanding of PM & building schedules, so could be a great asset to your team or part of your supply chain.

Happy to chat it through with you.
