Planning interiors for 2027
Are you considering a new refresh to your home or business venue in 2027?
Country Interior Design are now looking ahead to 2027. Making plans and currently sourcing the very best suppliers for you & your project.
Taking on any design project, takes time. Quality takes time and that's what we endeavor to do for each & every client we work with.
I thought I'd let you know whats involved to help manage your expectations.
Firstly we learn more about you, your other family members or business partners and how you want to either live in that space or get the most of the venue & property business. This happens by a number of online calls (includes a questionnaire).
Then depending on the scope of the project, a site visit may follow. This could be required to take place at different times of the day to gain a feel for your lighting plan.
Then once we have done this, we can then start working on the design & mood boards. This is where creative comes in to play.
Once a budget has been allocated, then we can start on itemising your interior design project. If trades are required we can coordinate this too.
Depending on how involved you want us to be, can result in accompanying visits to showrooms or shopping visits. It's completely up to you.
The whole process can take up to 6 months before the project is commenced, this ensures that there is plenty of time to make those important decisions, your completely happy with. Plus if you have specific requirements, it gives plenty of time for research and understanding technical issues.
Depending on the level of Craftsmanship involved, whether this is bespoke furniture or commissioned homeware items, there is always lead times, that are set by thesupplier. On average 12-14 weeks is the norm. Seasonality can also be a factor that adds to the timescales for example Christmas and new Kitchen installs. So that's why it's important to plan way ahead.
Making plans for 2027 may seem like a long way off, but in build & interior design timescales. Now is a great time to start your project especially if you're wanting to get started early 2026. I'd suggest the best case scenario is one year ahead & potentially two with house renovations and self builds of course if it can be completed and brought forward then excellent.
Not every design require as much notice, and Seasonal designs can be turned around at short notice (partly because we have preferential supplies and partners in place, already).
The point is to start the conversation as early as you can. So if you're looking to start an interior design project in 2027, then pick up the phone.
